Heavy Light is an Italian autonomous AI company serving markets worldwide. An AI employee is a software agent with a clearly defined job. It has a role, a goal, a set of tools it is allowed to use, memory of the work already done, rules it must follow and metrics that measure its results. It does not act alone: it receives tasks from the AI Manager, collaborates with other specialists on shared context and shows evidence of what it completed, such as a document, a message ready for review or an updated record. When a task goes beyond its permissions or carries a risk, it stops and asks a person for approval. This is different from a generic chatbot, which answers questions but owns no outcome. In an AI Workforce, for example, one specialist can monitor authorised sources for opportunities, another can qualify them and prepare messages, and a third can keep the CRM up to date, while the manager coordinates all three and reports back to you.

Working 24/7 means the AI workforce does not depend on office hours, shifts or manual restarts. When the manager is uncertain or a threshold is crossed, the work stops and passes to a person, instead of taking the initiative on its own.
